When you mention “Ferry Street Bridge” in Eugene, Oregon you might be talking about the physical bridge, but it’s just as likely you mean one of Eugene’s most popular urban sections of town. Both the bridge and the area trace their names to the entrepreneurial activity by the city's founder, Eugene Skinner, who once ran a ferry service here.

The Ferry Street Bridge section of the city fills most of its north-northeast area. It lies west of Interstate 5 and south of Beltline highway, and the Willamette River marks its southern and eastern borders. Ferry Street Bridge real estate is highly sought-after and comprises several individual neighborhoods, all of which feature un-crowded living spaces, excellent shopping and dining, picturesque parks and golf courses, and easy access to all of Eugene.
